The Press Box (writers’ community)

The Press Box is a members’ community for writers, hosted by Good News England at /press-box/. Applications are reviewed by the founder personally; acceptance is at our discretion.

Accepted Founding Members receive a Founder Letter setting out what membership involves. The Press Box is free to join for the founding cohort and makes no payment, revenue-share, bonus or earnings promises. It is a place to get your writing published and edited, build a public byline, and join a community of writers. Membership confers no financial entitlement.

Editorial standards for member submissions

All content submitted by Press Box members is reviewed against the same editorial gates applied to staff-written content: positivity, locality, factuality, no bereavement, no crime composites, no controversy framing. We reserve the right to decline any submission that does not meet these standards. Repeated breaches of editorial standards may result in membership suspension.
